The Olympics have begun. Kendra is pretty in to them. She says she is competing. I heard an athlete say he was "in it to win." I think all Sears portraits should be done by television light. We all watched some of the gymnastics together. It's rare that we make it down to our basement and tv. The reception is part of the problem. Some gymnasts hug with one arm and some hug with two. My Dad hugs with one arm.

Yep, I love the TV light. :) Very nice. I am into the Olympics, too, and no one else at this house appreciates that very much. (Odessa was a little interested in gymnastics, but was wondering why everyone did the "same" routine.) Did you know that you can win Olympic gold for water polo???

Oh yeah, they give out medals for a human 3000-meter steeple chase, where runners jump over horse fences and land in water traps.
Cookie was into the Olympics - he has started gymnastics, swimming, and fencing thanks in large part to wanting a gold medal.
I won't rest until he is in every sport. Every sport. That's the goal.
